In pursuance and exercise of the powers and .authorities vested in me by the Public Works A,ct, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise l enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim & declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a cemetery and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Whakatane as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fortytwo. SCHEDULE. Approximate area of the piece of land taken-: 9 acres 1 rood 30 perches. Being part Lot 2, D.P. 28698, being part Allotment 245, Waimana Parish. Situated in Block 11, Whakatane Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (S.O. 31634.)
