Word lias been received by his parents, Mr and Mrs S. H. Tippett. of Whakatane, that Lee. Cpl. A. R. Tippett has been wounded while on service in the Middle East. Further advice has also been reH ceived by Mrs H. C. Bishop of katane, that her husband Pte H. C. Bishop has been wounded in the course of recent operations in the Middle East.
