WARDENS IN E.P.S. SCHEME

I Fairly wide powers may he granted to wardens, especially authorised by tlie Central Committee, as a result of recent amendments to the E.P.S. Regulations, states I lie April issue of the E.P.S. Bulletin. Restrictions are placed upon the entry into private dwellhig-hou ;cs. The occupier is to be first given tin* opportunity of supplying any necessary information or demonstrating the adequacy fo any necessary precautions. Any specially authorised warden may require any person in any premises to give any information required in connection with E.P.S. and advise them, if necessary, in regard to their obligations under the requirements of the regulations or warn them of legal consequences of non-compliance with any obligation. Authority is granted to all wardens to direct the movements of pedestrians or other persons in am r E.P.S. trial or actual emergency. A person's refusal to obey such instructions constitutes an offence.
