The meeting opened with the singing of the Ode to Friendship after which Mrs Hodson welcomed the visitors, among whom / was Mrs Eccles, foundation president of Edgecumbe W.I. Mrs Shaw sang: . "Love's Old Sweet Song" and "O ** Promj.se Me" two songs which were much enjoyed. A competition in which members I produced their earliest photograph, I for identification by others Avas won I by Mrs L. Wilson. .1 A one-act play entitled "Allot- A ments'" was enacted by Mrs Todson I and Mrs Speirs and provoked hearty \ .. Pcpperell in costume Avas H heartily applauded. The monthly competition results, were: Jam tart- (puff pastry), Mrs^ 1 List 1; : Mrs Learning 2. Boavl of winter decoration, Mrs List 1; Mrs Bur~ gess 2. Best flower Mrs Learning 1; Mrs List, Mrs Goldsmith, Mrs JesJ£ person (equal 2). A sales table in charge of Mrs Jes-* person did good business, the P r^ ceeds 1, will be allotted to the Do-* minion Conference Pool.
