THE "GOOD ENDEAVOUR" LEAGUE
FOR YOUNG READERS ONLY 11 i<l Aboard for the Goodwill Cruise
What ho, what ho, ma hearties. Shiver my timbers, these mornings do not improve my rheumatics. You know, it takes quite an effort for me to tumble out of bed. If it wasn't for Butinsky I doubt very much if I would get up at all. But that young goat starts at 7 o'clock to hammer on my door Avith his horns. I bellow to him to be quiet and lie down, but its no use, lie goes back 20 yards and chargcs at the door until it rattles like a tin lizzie. One of these days he'll break the thing altogether and then I'll get properly mad and murder him or something. At any rate Avhen I do get up to chaso him away I find that I don't feel like going back to bed and so I get dressed and go outside and throw stones at him. I guess I'll haA'e to tie him up and that'll fix him. Cheerio till next Aveck P.T.W.
