UNITED STATES PRODUCING ARTIFICIAL RUBBER
In planning the production of artificial rubber, United States authorities are working on a long-term plan right up to the end of 1944. It is the responsibility of that "arsenal of democracy" to manufacture artificial rubber for the whole of the 26 nations associated with the Allies. Attention is being given in the United States to the development of a steel re-capping for tyres as already used in Germany.
