Special Ladies Meeting Mr Brian Dunningham who will speak at Whakatane on Tuesday evening next, will also address a special meeting of ladies in the Caledonian Hall in the afternoon at 2.30 p.m. The Deputy Mayoress w'.ll preside. * E.P.S. Finance Donations amounting to £223 (is Gd were reeeived last year by the llangitaiki County K.P.S.O. Payments were £235 17s 3d. After sub-\ sidy lias been received on payments to date there will be a credit on account of donations of say £40. The Whakatane County Council has additional to this sum, provided £100 in its current year's estimates for medical and hospital supplies. In certain districts funds have been collected for the purpose of paying for the medical kits which were supplied at cost by Dr. Appleby. In all districts where sucli collections have been made the funds collected should be expended on the purchase of materials to supplement the kits and hospital materials which have been purchased by this organisation.
