■©» WHAKATANE CLUB A very successful season Avas reported by the president at the animal meeting held en May 27, -when there was a good attendance of members. Election of officers were as follows: President, Mrs Shaw (reelected); vice-president, Mrs Sutherland; secretary, Mrs Burgess (reelected); committee, Mesdames WoolUains, Chamberlain, Comer, Barter, Loane and Henley; handicappers, Mesdames Hellyar, Hcaley and Loane; green committee, Mesdames j Hcaley, Loane and Comer; draw committee, Mesdames Sutherland and Woolliams; tea lady, Mrs Loane. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to president, secretary and committee.
