ACTIVITIES

The May meeting of the garden circle was held at Mrs Miilholland's residence "where there was a good attendance of members. Mrs Wheeler i) re sided and Mrs Stewart gave a very instructive' reading on the 1 making of a compost heap. The storing of vegetables was discussed by members much valuable information being gained. The roll call "A Seasonable Hint" was well responded to. Plants were exchanged amongst members. The competition, best collection of vegetables, vas won by Mrs Mil! hoi la ml. A dainty afternoon tea served by the hostesses, Mesdames. Kent and Grey, brought a very enjoyable afternoon to a close.
