o TANEATUA BRANCH The monthh r meeting of the Taneatua Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held on Tuesday, May 19, Mrs HUT presiding over a good attendance of members. After routine business had been disposed of the president reminded members of the Division Day at the Patriotic stall and hc.ped that all members would: support the stall. Competitions were as under: Date loaf, Mrs Bennett t; Mrs Hill 2;, Mrs Marsden 3. Cooking apples, Mrs Marsden 1; Mrs Prince 2; Mrs Yeoman 3. Double flower, Mrsi II ay ward 1; Mirs Hill 2; Mrs Bennett 3. Single flower, Mrs Anderson 1, Mrs: Hayward 2; Mrs Marsden 3. Wall competition, Mrs M. Frace. The hostesses for lunch were Mesdames Moore, Mar lid en and Bennett.
