May mornings, so fragrant, refreshing and clear; The nightingales sweet serenade, to his dear. Tiie church bells mellow music, recalling the. past— Solemn tones emphasising that life's sand run fast. Authors may write and musicians may sin;., — But age is man's winter, and youth. is his spring. Be life's journey ending, or ready to start— It always is springtime, Avlien May's in the heart. H.
