PUBLIC NOTICES UNENDING TORMENT Palmerston North Woman Writes of Remarkable Recovery. Smitten all of a sudden with a terrible pain in the back, left thigh and foot, Mrs. Etheldra Robbins, of 31A Albert Street, Palmerston North, went through untold misery. She writes as follows on 11/3/42, allowing her photo, to be used: — 0"I was attacked with a terrible pain in the back, left thigh and foot; I became lame and was suffering agony. The doctor ordered me to the Pahiatua Public Hospital. I had electrical treatment, was poulticed and had hot water bottles, but nothing gave me relief. Finally, after having the legnerve stretched with no great relief and often taking hot salt water baths, Mrs. Robbins decided to try R.U.R. and says: " After taking the fifth dose, I was able to bend my knee. When I had finished the second bottle, I had thrown away my stick — there was no lameness; also I was able to wear my shoe in place of a large slipper on the foot that had been so bad."
