Each national brought its peculiar talents in blazing the trail through great ranges, spanning roaring rivers, farming, building industrial cities from the majestic forests of the frontiers with U.S.A. to the beyond of the Arctic wastes. Some communities settled in more or less geographically compact districts, clinging to their customs, newspapers and churches, including the Orthodox, Russian Dukhobors, Mohammedan. Mr Blumenthal, in charge, thanked Mr C. Blair Burkett, for the absorbing demonstration.
