FACTORY RETURNS
SEASON'S OUTPUT DROPS STILL FURTHER We are indebted to Mr W. G. Lemmon, secretary to the Bay of Plenty Association, for the April returns from the factory. The figures show that the decrease in production which lias been general throughout the season still continues. The payout for April- shows a decline of £2371 from that of 1041, making the season's pay-out £32,307 lower, while the butter manufactured has shown a drop of over 317 tons. Butterfat supplied amounted to 365,1601-bs, against -100,4771b5, a drop of 41,3101b5. The pajvout for this butterfat amounted to £21,166, against £23,537, a decrease of £2:171. The. total pay-out for the season to April 30 has amounted to £202,001, against £324,108, a decrease of £32.307. To date 2745 tons* lGcwt 3qrs 7lbs of butter has been manufactured. This is a drop of 317 tons) Oewt (Jibs from the 3063 tons scwt 3qrs 131bs manufactured up to April of 1041.
