British Films for Russia
British iicavs films and "shorts" are going to Russia at the rate of five ft Aveck, and in the last two months alone 64 neAA 7 sreels and l 20 short films have been sent aAA r ay, states a cablegram received by the Associated Chambers of Commerce of NeAV Zealand from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of' the British Einpire.Thc cablegram adds that a programme of 24 specially prepared shorts and neAA'sreels is under way. Among those which have already left is one shoAving how production is kept going in Britain's aircraft and munition factories, another 'how convoy ships AA r ork, and a third how Britain's armed forces are trained. Special films sent to the Soviet are noAA r being done entirely in Russia with Russian commentaries.
