DUNKIRK HEROES
GET WHITE FEATHERS Some Dunkirk heroes, since discharged from the Army 011 grounds of ill health, are receiving white feathers by. mail from anonymous cowards. The white feather brigade has been active lately, sending tokens to returned' soldiers, youths under military age, and men on war work. One boy committed suicide after receiving feathers, but the publicity given to the tragedy has not stopped the practice. There is now a move to' provide discharged soldiers with the King's badge for services rendered. So far the War Office has rejected requests for this; to be done, and the matter will be raised in the House of Commons..
