Drum of "Spirit" Found

Mystery surrounds the finding recently, by a Boddytown (West Coast) resident, of a -i-i-'gallcin drum of n spirit resembling whisky. The drum was found in a creek bed near Boddytown, and the finder, at first, though! he had come upon an illegal supply of petrol. Investigation, however, soon disclosed that the drum contained a type c<f whisky. "Experts" who tasted, the contents of the drum were of the opinion that it was whisky of the 'Hokonui -, type-, leading to the belief that the liquor had been illegally distilled. Inquiries have failed to locate the owlner of the drum or to explain its presence in the creek bed.
