DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR
''SINBA!) THE SAILOR" Charles Williams, alias Sinbad the. Sailor, of Waihi, gardener, aged 05 years:, appeared before Messrs F. J. Short and C. Pipe, J.P.'s, charged with, on the 21st April, behaving in a disorderly manner whilst drunk in Church Street, Opotiki. Accused pleaded guilty but said he had no recollection of anything. Constable Rathie who prosecuted, told the Bench that accused got drum* and was walking up and down the street yelling out in a loud voice and genera!iy behaving in a disorderly manner. The constable said he believed accused had used bad language but lie did not hear it. Accused had been in Opoiiki 11 months ago when he was convicted of being drunk. He was a harmless old fellow but cou'd not be allowed to go about the streets yelling and bawling. Accused was convicted and sentenced to four days' imprisonmenl in the Opotiki gaol. The Bench advised him to get out of town or look for some work "when he was released. He would not be let o!f so iightly if he appeared before the Court again..
