COMING SEASON'S NEEDS » MINISTER DOUBTFUL In response to> a telegram asking for advice on the position of fertiliser supplies for the coming season, the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. J. G. Barclay, has replied to< Mr W_ Sullivan, M.P.", as under.:— "In reply I wish to advise that . this matter is now being given careful consideration by me and. by the 'i Department under my control, and also by the National Council of Primary Production. 11 "The question of next s supplies will depend upon the position as revealed sometime in June *} by the British Phosphate Commis- I sio.n, and until this information is available no definite decision can be arrived at. I regret, therefore, that in the meantime no statement of next year's position can be made but as soon as lam in possession „|H of the necessary information I will -fjß arrange for the decisions in respect of this matter to be made public."
