LYCEUM CLUB
A most enjoyable social afternoon was spent in the Club Rooms' on Thursday last. The following items: being presented by members of the club:—A Duologue, "The Duchess Dines" was presented by Mrs Blair and Mrs Spence. So'.os, Pale Moon and Two Little Words were very ab!y rendered by Mrs N. Carter. A one-act play titled "Red Wax" was presented by the following cast: Ann Anicc, Mrs Lucas; Dora Byles, Mrs Dawson; Pen Wade, Mrs Sumner; Jessie Feasey, Mrs Thomas; The Maid, Mrs Cole; Iso'.da, Mrs A. Bridger. Among those present were: Mesdames Spence. Cole, Thomas, Sisam Snr., Winstone, Runciman, Dewar, Kent, Lucas, Keir, James, A. Bridger, Appleby, Blair, Powdrell, Sumner Snr., Sumner Jnr., Hawken, N. Carter, Luxton, Dawson. Misses Topp, Allan, Tait. Hostesses, Mrs Cole, Mrs Thomas Miss Allan.
