THE HOARDER AGAIN
THE pending use of ration cards on household commodities, has led to a further plunge of fertive action by that secretive individual known as the 'hoarder.' Even in this country with a wealth of foodstuffs all a,round us, there are those who are not satisfied, until they have built up supplies sufficient to stand a private seige. It is due to their widespread activities that shortages in necessary commodities occur, yet selfishness and common greed make them impervious to rational thinking and the only thought that dominates is the dispicable one of saving themselves irrespective of the suf ferings of others. We are not criticising a reasonable storage of foodstuffs but rather do we accuse those wilful heartless individuals who have laid up a young grocers shop in their storerooms and who still seek to amass more.
