ON THE LOCAL GREENS

On Saturday a novelty tournament was held in place of the ordinary draw, each player skipping 5 heads. The majority of members entered into the spirit of the game and enjoyed the change. Dereeourt, McLeod, Bigelow, and King 22 beat Jackson, Hyland, Dixon and Marsh 16; O'Rourke, Shapley, Francis and Patterson 19 beat Smith, Bullartl, Creeke and Mclsaac 35; Whitehead, Salmon, Bell and Loane 18 beat Grace, Darvill, White and Currah 14; Murphy, Oswald, Canning and Luxton 25 beat Wilson, Henderson, Healy and Howat 16; H. S. King. J. Bell, Pearson and Shaw 25 beat Otley, McMillan, Hellvar and Burgess 15; McKenzie, Boon, Drube and Baxter 21 beat Bennett, Boon, Tippett and Littlejohn 17. Final: Murphy, Oswald, Canning and Luxton 10 beat King, Bell, Pearson and Shaw 2. Smith Stars: Bennett, O'Rourke, Dixon, Drube (holders) 19 lost to Darvill, Pearson, Howat, King 20.
