GUARD ACTIVITIES

WORK ON THE PLAINS

MANUFACTURE OF ARMS

In connection with the activities of C Company of the Rangitaiki Home Guard Battalion, in the manufacture of trench mortars, bombs, etc., as well as work of organisation generally, we have been asked to draw attention to the need of funds ot cover outlay and expenses. The sum of £50 has been suggested as sufficient in the meantime at least. The company would appreciate contributions from the Edgecumbc and the Otakiri districts. These may be forwarded to Orderly Room Sergeant McLean, or to any Home Guardsman from those areas. It is hoped that a prompt response Avill be made.
