WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
TANEATUA MEETING Mrs Adams the retiring president, reviewed the past year at the annual meeting of the Taneatua Women's Institute., and spoke in, warm Appreciation of the support gLven her by officers and members. Mrs H. J. Frost, secretary and treasurer, then presented her report in which she commented on the improved finances of the Institute to the previous year. The eleciton of officers resulted: —• President: Mrs Adams, re-elected. Vice-president: Mrs McKenzie, reelected. Secretary and Treasurer: Mrs H. J. Frost, re-elected. Committee: Mesdames Semmens, Peebles, Anderson, Moore, Storey, Gardner and Miss Hills. Mrs V. Stewart, V.0., demonstrated posies from marrow seeds nnd concluded her class on glove making. The points prize of 10/- for the highest points gained in the year was Avon by Mrs Adam,si. A dainty afternoon tea was served by tlie retiring committee and< brought an enjoyable day "to its close.
