PUBLIC NOTICES WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL DOG REGISTRATION Pursuant to Section 8 ol "Lhc Doti, Registration Act 1908" noti.ee is hereby given that the fee for the registration of dogs for the year 19U2, is now payable to Mr A. Carling, Registrar of Dogs, at the County Council Chambers, Whakatane. The amount of the fee has been fixed as follows: — For each dog kept solely for the purpose of destroying rabbits 1,-. For each dog kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle 2/6. For any other dog 5/-t. HYDATID DISEASE: In accordance with the provisions of the Dogs Registrati.on (Prevention of Hydatid Disease) Regulations, 1938, all owners must, when registering dogs, purchase a supply of the approved remedy lor Hydatid Disease, the charge for Avhicli is 1/- for each dog registered. COUNTY OF WHAKATANE BY-LAW Public notice is hereby given that A meeting of the Whakatane County Council Avill be held at the County Council Chambers, Whaktane, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday 28tli April 1942 for the purpose o.f confirming a resolution passed by way of Special Order at a Special Meeting of the Whakatane County Council held on the 24th day of February 1942, making a by-law to be known as "Whakatane County Council Water Supply By-Law." The object and purport of such proposed by-law is to enable the Whakatane Cc<unty Council to administer and control its water supply schemes and provide charges for water as the same, is more fully set out in proposed by-Jaw, a copy of which is deposited at the County Clerk's office, The Strand, Whakatane, and may be inspected by the public during office hours.
