SHORT OF AMMUNITION
A good story going the rounds is that tAA r o Germans were condemned to death for spreading false rumours. They had gone about saying Germany Avas; short of ammunition. They were condemned to be beheaded. When they asked that they might be shot instead, their request was refused. One of them turned to the other and said: "I told you so, they're short of ammunition."
