N. Wiggins, who sustained a broken leg at Trentham last October reported from Wellington to Auckland last week, but will require further treatment in the Empire City before resuming riding. A RUNNER-UP The Whangarei owner hurdler, Enjoyment, who has been running prominently in the W aikato district lately, finished second in the Highweight Handicap at Trentham.
BRIGHTON HURDLES CANDIDATE Although Melvanui. has no immediate engagements, little fault can! be found with his condition. Of late the brown gelding has not been required to do any schooling over hurdles owing to the hard ground, but being a proficient jumper he will not suffer on that account. Melvanui is due to make his next ap-> pearancc in the Brighton Hurdle race to be run at Ellerslie on April 4.
