She is one of the most improved fillies at Ellerslie, and more money looks assured for her within the next few months. The daughter of Croupier and Ticket claims an engagement in the Great Northern Oaks, and it will be interesting to see how she acquits herself in the mile and a half contest. HURDLER TO RESUME The hurdler Hot Shot has been taken up again after an enforced spell extending over several months. He is in great order to commence a serious preparation, and. having previously Avon over the battens, will be. a welcome addition to the jumping brigade at headquarters.
