The continued fine weather has enabled good use lo be made of the local rinks and every week-end lias seen the greens crowdcd. Results of week-end play were as under: — Ordinary Draw: Grace, Ilealy, Littlejohn 19 v Smith, Turpin, Burgess 22; Whitehead, Jackson, Grant, McIsaac 22 v Murphy, Dcrecourt, McMillan, A. C. King 19; Wilson, McLeod, Shaw 23 v Bennett, Oswald, Chamberlain 15. Smith Stars: Darvill, Henderson, Francis, Loane (holders) 19 held off a strong challenge from the Borough Council team Sliapley, Bullard, Creeke, Caisley 13. Junior Stars: McKenzie, Oswald (holders) 26 held off a challenge from Bennett, O'Rourkc 16 but went down to H. L. King and Darvill 20-19. Junior Singles-: Jackson 20 v O'Rourke 12; Bennett 24 v Wilson 19 leaving Darvill two lives and Bennett and Jackson one life left in play. | Championship Singles: King 22 v Baxter 15; Littlejohn 21 v Sloane 16; J Canning 21 v Bullard 15.
