SINGLE GIRLS SHIPPED TO GERMANY

Single Czech girls over seventeen years of age are being sent to Germany on forced labour in factories. In order to avoid such a fate they marry as soon as they reach this age. But, if they arc accused of having this motive in contracting the marriage, they are sentenced to jail for sabotage. The penalty is one year's imprisonment for the young woman and fourteen days for the 1 parents. There can be no appeal from such a sentence.
