A tale of fantastic events in tiie desert and how a band of indignant Scotsmen garnered a fortune in food and supplies and captured nearly 200 German prisoners, is told by a Press correspondent in Cyrenaica. UpAvards of 200 Germans were captured before tlic round up ended. Then the Scots tumbled upon a treasure troA'e of supplies in trucks, in eaves, under tents and spread out on the ground—everything from pistols to food and portable typewriters . There Avcre eases of fruit in tins, and chocolate. The scope of German conquests Avas measured in part by Norwegian fish, YugoslaA T sausages and French sauces. There aatis a surprise package of American tinned foods—probably from the huge stores of supplies, partly of American origin, Avhich AA r ere captured in Flanders. What happened to the pig that started all of this still isn't quite clear.
