Sky Glow
The brightness of the grass and scrub fire -opposite the Rock on Thursday evening attracted considerable attention, and shortly after the first flames were noted a large crowd had collected. The reason for the blaze was a precautionary one as the grass -\vliicli was as dry as tinder constituted a continual menace to the buildings in the vicinity, [t was therefore considered a* Avise plan to stage a burn off and give the brigadesmen a little genuine practice.
