HAMILTON SALE PRICES MAINTAINED The Farmers' Co-operative Alio tioneering Co. Ltd. report-:—■ Sheep: At the Frankton stock sale an average yarding of fat sheep came forward. Values for-fat wethers opened freely and last -week's quotations fully maintained, whilst prices for fat ewes were unchanged. A larger entry of fat lambs' was absorbed by exporters. Cattle: Only a--small' yarding of all classes cf cattle Avas offered aaHli prices for prime ox, cow and heifer beef remaining firm at last Aveek's quotations.A consignment of medium prime Polled Angus bullocks, from Mr J. C. Potts, BruntAVOOd, realised £11 5s to £11,12s 6d, light prime bullocks from Mr C. . Hill, Eureka, realising £9 10s to £10 17s Gd. A small yarding of fat calves met steady competition, AAdiilst values for a medium yarding of boner cattle AA r ere slightly easier on recent sales. Pigs: A larger yarding of fat pigs with competition for all classes keen and prices for both baconers and porkers a shade firmer. A smaller entry of stores-and weaners also met a better demand,, and here again values shoAved a slight improve*ment.
