PRISONERS OF WAR RELATIVES ASSOCIATION
Sir,—Tli eve are now many New Zealanders held as Prisoners of War in enemy countries. Relatives and friends are naturally anxious to hear news of them—where they are, and how they are. Under wartime conditions this information trickles through very slowly. In England the Prisoners of War Relatives Association (P.0.W.R.A.) has been doing excellent work in collecting information about Prison _jj Camps and pooling it for the bene- * fit to relatives and friends of the men. - It is proposed to found a similar Association in New Zealand. The annual subscription is 2/6, which will entitle members to a copy of tlie monthly "News Sheet" in which Hie fullest information about New Zealand prisoners of war, the conditions in their camps and personal news will be published. Extracts from letters received by relatives from prisoners of Avar which contain news of interest, will'be gladly received. These, in addition to. any official statements which come to hand, would enable relatives and friends to form a fuller and more comprehensive picture of the life, health and conditions in these camps and also to learn of such needs of the men as may be supplied. The first copy of the P.O.W.R.A. "•News Sheet" will be issued in February. Join now! Send subscription £ (2/6) to Sirs Peter Nash, Organiser, P.0.W.R.A., 25 Panama Street, Wellington.
