AVOIDING ERRORS
N.Z.R.S.A TAKES ACTION "Those who were in any way connected with the problems surrounding the return to. civil life of servicemen after the war of 1914-18 will recall many errors, both in legislation, the administration of legislation, and in various other' avenues," states the New Zealand Returned Services' Association. "It is considered that, as the majority of ex-servicemen of World War I were connected with the rehabilitation problem subsequent to 1919 have full knowledge of numerous grave mistakes which occurred, it is desirable, in the interests- of the nation and the men and women concerned, that these unfortunate occurrences do not happen again. "Therefore the Dominion executive committee of the New Zealand Returned Services Association, at a recent meeting, decided to tabulate these mistakes and to this end" to circularise the 94 affiliated branches, requesting them to suppljr details of the errors which they are able to remember. These, when received by Dominion headquarters, will be carefully tabulated, and it is intended to send copies to> those exservicemen throughout the Dominion who become members of boards or committees in connection, with the rehabilitation of the servicemen and women, returning from overseas."
