For the winner was a son of Coronach, who Avon the Derby and the St. Leger for Lord Woolavington in 1920. has brought in £08,225 in prizes and has sired the winners oC 170 races valued at £08,104. The colt's dam, Nogara, although bred in France, comes from pure English stock, and was the best two year old in 1930, winning the Italian 1000 guineas. Before going to Germany, the victorious three 3 r ear old colt carried off the principal racing events in Italy. He is owned by Signor Tesio. the Italian breeder, who normally buys most of his bloodstock from England. Further British victories in Germany and Italy may be expected, for Nogara, the colt's dam, has since had another colt by Coronach, and also one by Cameronian, the famous English Derby and Two Thousand Guineas winner which was shipped to Argentine during the summer. Cameronian has won races toi the value of £31,287, and has sired the winners of 77 races, valued at £52,000. He was the fourth Derby winner to be sold abroad since war broke out.
