Friends of the Rev. G. P. Lucas, who for some time was Methodist Minister in Whakatane, will regret to learn that his mother has passed away. Auckland Automobile Association Patrol W. L. Dixon left Whakatane on Saturday for Auckland where he will be attached to Army Headquarters.
