SHARP 'QUAKE
SHOCK ON SATURDAY NIGHT
At about 11.15 on Saturday night Whakatane was startled by a sharp earthquake shock which came in the form qf a bump, and caused some concern, to residents. The major bump which is said to have been accompanied by the sound of a report was followed by several smaller shocks.
