Present errors in time, although fractional, Avill.be. reduced. For the neAv clock, it is hoped, Avill be accurate to the thousandth part of a second —the most accurate clock of its type in the Avorld. Hence the signals which are sent out by Greemvich Observatory every day .to the Post Office and the BBC Avill be. even more accurate than before. Not only the public of Great Britain, but also ships at sea Avill benefit. Time—exact time —marches on. Designed in the National Physical Laboratory at Tecklington, the> clock is all-British in make.
