WEDDING
GRACE—NEILSON Bowls of pink gladioliis and sweet peas intermingled with greenery made an artistic background for the wedding" of Jessie Ellen, daughter of Mrs Wagner and the late Mr Neilson of Opotiki to Maurice, son of Mr and Mrs W. Grace of Taneatua, Oin Monday afternoon, December 22 in the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. A. C. Hampton officiated at the ceremony and Mrs Hampton played the wedding music. j The bride w r ho entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr R. A. N'cilson looked charming in an angora costume of saxe blue, with q honey felt halo hat and white gloves and shoes. She carried a bouquet of white gladioliis, lace bark, and minute pink roses. Miss Olive Neilson who maided her sister was attired in a frock of dusky pink crepc with matching hat and white accessories. A posy of pink flowers was carried. Attending the bridegroom wasi Mf Jack Dunstan as best man. Following the ceremony a recep- ] tion was held in the Wattle Tea J Rooms, where Mrs Wagner received the guests assisted by Mrs Grace. The former was attired in a floral burgundy frock with black coat and accessories, with a bouquet of aut-umn-tinted flowers. Mrs Grace wore n black floral frock with blue coat and accessories. Her posy was of blue and white. Miss Ellen Melville of Auckland and Miss Melville of Mangere, aunts of the bride were also, present for tlie wedding. The happy couple later left on their honeymoon.
