| Advice has bqen received of the death in action of Lieutenant lan Thomas Harray, nephew of Mrs G. Barrow, Te Puke. Lieutenant Harray was the first New Zealantler to gain a commission in the' Royal Navy. He was transferred to the Fleet Air Arm some time ago, and at the time of his death was believed to be serv-j ing in Libya.
