AT THE GRAND
A lovely girl matches wits with the cleverest gang of jewel thieves ever to hit Park Avenue in "Girl in 813." Tricky and sophisticated, the picture shows Florence Puce as the queen of New York's diamond snatch ers, Avho is assigned the difficult task of out-conniving the jewel gang that has outsmarted the city's lawforces. How she goes about checkmating the gang, only to fall in love With the master jewel thief, makes a story that sustains interest throughout the picture. "The Phantom Submarine" features Anita Louise and Bruce Bennett in the leading roles, the film tells a thrilling story about a hairraising search for sunken treasure and a shocking plot to smash America's vital defences. Miss Louise is the only woman in the entire cast, which also features Oscar O'Shea. John Tyrrell, Pedro <le Cordoba and Harry Strang. The .Joseph Kniingold story was directed by Charles Biteton .
