DELIVERY OF BEACON
NECESSARY CHANGE OVER EFFECTED
TOWN AREA. ONLY
Owing to the withdrawal of the., petrol license which enabled the Beacon to effect a quick morning delivery by car throughout the Borough, it has been found necessary to replace the service with boy runners who will carry out the round as from to-day. . We would ask our customers indulgence for a day or two if on account of the suddenness of the change over they fail to receive their paper and Avould request that in such event that they ring the 'Beacon' office at once and. register their complaint. We would like it to be known that already we are producing the paper under considerable difficulty and in this further need for reorganisation would welcome the cooperation and assistance of our readers.
