BOROUGH FAREWELL

Last, week at a dance organised by the Plunket Society the men of the Borough were farewelled. Mr S. S. Shapley, Deputy Mayor, made the farewell address, and Mrs Hayter handed each man a present on behalf of the Borough Ladies' Farewell committee. Those entertained were L.A.C. Cave (R.N.Z.A.F.). L/Cpl McEvoy, Private Johnson, Pte Righton, Pte Pickles, Pte Sharkey.
