Bad Judgment

Its no joke to fall off a motor cycle—in fact it is most unfortunate toi say the least. Yet one cyclist who took a spill recently certainly had an unlucky day. With a pillion rider aboard he failed to negotiate

the corner from Domain Road into King Street and "piled up" on the footpath on the wrong side of the road with a resounding crash. They were both lucky to escape unhurt, but yet the rider was not so lucky. A Avell known figure, usually quite conspicuous by his sartorial array, provided by the Transport Department, but who happened to be "disguised" in overalls while checking petrol pumps nearby, trotted over, naturally with his first thought to dcteiTnine if anyone was injured but later with other ideas. The driver had no injuries, but neither had he the right to ride (or fall off) the bike having no warrant of fitness— so now he has a nice blue paper invitation to pay his respects to the S.M. and probably seme hard earned cash to the state coppers. And to* think of all the other corners he could have chosen at which to fall off.
