CENTRAL'S COMFORTABLE. WIN

At the week-end Central had *aj comfortable won over Taneatua on the first innings Centra! batting first made 155, Taneatua replying with 31. Central opened Avell with Magee and Warren who made 34 for the first Avicket. Phillips coming in fifth wicket down livened things up making 52 not out. The tail enders took advantage of the bowling carried the scorc to 155. For Taneatua McCready and liowson opened, in the first over Rowson being bowled by Phillips and the telegraph reading 0-1-0.
