Imports of 22 Ammunition

The Canterbury Chamber of Commerce has been advised by the toms Department that sixth period licenses will be granted for the importation of .22 calibre cartridges from any source equivalent to 50 per cent of the value of imports from all sources in 1,988. This allocation will be granted in addition to any provision made for the importation of cartridges for supply to miniature rifle clubs, but any licenses already granted for the im, portation of .22 cartridges for other purposes will be regarded as part of the allocation now authorised.
