CONCERT FIELD
ENJOYABLE -ANNUAL EVENT METHODIST CHURCH BENEFIT i Last week Hall was well filled -ciative audience when the annual concert was held. The items provid- \ ed by local artists were of a high order and were all worthy of the enthusiastic applause given. A band of pupils of the Poroporo school were very popular when they presented a variety of musical items as was the Boys' Band when it rendered several selections. Mrs Larmer delighted the audi- r ence with violin solos, while a high v. 1 degree of enjoyment was the result of an Irish sketch presented by Mrs 3 EL Armstrong and others. 4 The Nigger Minstrel troupe and j the "Ten Little Nigger Boys" had All in responsive mood, while an- j other soloist who was popular was J Master Len Broadmore (cornet). d
