Footpaths at Te Puke. That the Te Puke Borough Council hopes to construct concrete footpaths in its town is evidenced by the fact that the Council is seeking a description and construction prices of such from the Whakatane Council. The local council is supplying information to assist the neighbouring Borough. 4500 Opossum Skins Inspected. Four thousand five hundred opossum skins have so far been inspected this season, compared with only 2645 last year, when the season was for one month only, it was reported at a meeting of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society. The I permits and licences issued in the district numbered 62.
