CIVIC FAREWELL
AIRMEN TO BE HONOURED
SHORT FUNCTION ARRANGED
Two members of the R.N.Z.A.F.. Pilot A. Ooutts and L.A.C., N. Brockets who are at presgnt on leave, are to be officially farewelled at the Borough Council Chambers on Wednesday next at 5 p.m.
The fareAvell is arranged by* the Borough ancl County Farewell Committee and the Borough Ladies' Farewell Committee is taking the opportunity to also make a presentation. The speakers will be His Worship the Mayor, Mr J>. L. Burnett (chairman of the County Council), a representative of the Returned Soldiers' Association and a member of the Ladies' Committee. All residents of the district are cordially invited to be present.
